Staff changes

Rebecca Thompson, the office manager in Lacey since 2008, is expanding her work with NAMI-Thurston/Mason and is staying in Lacey. She has been a rock for this organization and we are relieved that she will stay involved in the Education Committee and has assisted in the transition. She can be reached at rst50@comcast.net or at the NAMI Thurston/Mason office. Please let her know how much you’ve appreciated her hard work!

We are pleased that Lisa Utter, who has been our contract public policy coordinator since November, is taking on the program/office manager role in the new office. She discovered NAMI when she took a Family to Family class last year and brings a background in local and regional government and wide experience with politics in the human services, planning and transportation arenas.

A former member of the Lynnwood City Council, Lisa recently completed a master’s degree in public administration. Lisa looks forward to meeting and working with NAMI affiliates, so give her a call and introduce yourself.
